I'm Alan Saldivar, a Senior Frontend Engineer based in Phoenix, AZ. I specialize in React, TypeScript, and building the kind of frontend systems that teams can ship confidently on top of for years.
My career has been defined by a few consistent themes: tackling complexity head-on, caring deeply about reliability, and bridging the gap between technical execution and business outcomes. Whether it's migrating a platform serving hundreds of thousands of users or engineering WebSocket reliability to 99.9%, I bring a combination of technical depth and execution discipline to every project.
Beyond writing code, I think in systems. I design architectures (Redux RTK, component libraries, API layers) that scale across teams. I build observability into products from day one. And I drive alignment across engineering, product, and stakeholders — not because I have to, but because shipping great work requires it.
When I'm not building, I'm usually reading about systems design, exploring the Arizona desert, or tinkering with side projects that let me push into new technical territory.
